Failed Accountant Urges Terror Attacks on Accountants

Malcolm Hodges harbored resentment against accountants for years after failing his professional exams. In 2006 he sent letters to mosques in the UK telling them: “Brothers, you are right to kill the infidels but you are making a mistake to try to attack planes and other targets.” He advised them instead to attack the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, and the Chartered Institute of Public Finance Accountants. He said: “Brothers, striking at these targets will be striking the infidels where it hurts most and each of these targets was formed and is led by the Queen of England.”

He has been sentenced to two years in jail.
