Growth in Forensic Services

The 2008 AICPA National Accounting Conference on Fraud and Litigation Services released survey results showing that 68 percent of CPAs in the survey saw increases in their forensic services. CPAs with forensic skills are in high demand.

The biggest increases were in computations of economic damages, marital disputes, and financial statement fraud.

Ninety-four percent of forensic experts are CPAs.
