Client meetings are the most effective way to gauge satisfaction and enhance relationships. Here are some tips for conducting these meetings:

  • The meeting should be conducted by the managing partner or a partner who doesn’t work on the engagement.
  • Select five to ten clients of each partner.
  • Meet with every client every two to three years.
  • Questions to ask:
    • Do you feel like a valued client of our firm?
    • How has the economy impacted your business?
    • What areas have you identified to cut costs?
    • Which vendor relationships can be renegotiated?
    • When was the last time you reviewed your business and personal insurance policies?
    • What is the ROI of your marketing/advertising program?
    • How satisfied are you with our service? In what areas can we improve?
    • What is the most important contribution that we can make to you and your company?
