A Tool for Building Trust

In his April 14 entry, Mark Koziel recommends an AICPA tool you can use to “set yourself apart as the trusted financial business advisor in the community.” A PowerPoint presentation called “Navigating the Current Economic Crisis: What It Means for Businesses,” was originally designed for CPAs in business, industry, and government, but is also a valuable tool for CPAs in public practice.
The presentation gives you an opportunity to get in front of the local chamber of commerce, banks, not-for-profits, and others to educate them about how the economy affects them. It can also be a valuable tool for retaining clients and attracting new ones. For example, as part of your proposal process, you might offer to give the presentation to a potential client’s employees.
