The American Institute of CPAs' Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) Team issued a memo to firm leaders this spring regarding cost-cutting considerations. Among the many points made in the memo, PCPS encourages firms to avoid layoffs if possible and to keep in mind several tips while making cost-cutting decisions.
