Every year, based on a survey of hundreds of firms, IPA selects the Best of the Best firms. Most of the firms on the list are large firms ($10 million to $340 million in revenue). Here are some reasons:

  • They are more confident of the value they provide.
  • They separate management from leadership. The leaders are visionary managing partners who delegate the day to day management to others.
  • They tend not to fear their clients. They solicit strong clients, fire weak ones, and resist write-downs.
  • They aren’t afraid to appear wealthy. On the contrary, they imply they will make their clients wealthy too.
