Hodgson Pratt & Associates, a small Massachusetts firm, hired a nursing student at $10 per hour to help staff with chores such as going to grocery stores, banks, gas stations, and cleaners. It has been a major benefit to the busy staff of 12 during tax season. The firm is thinking about extending the program for one or two days a month during non-busy season.
