ESOPs for CPAs and Their Clients
2 CPE Credits - 1PM ET, Noon CT, 11AM MT, 10AM PT

Employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) are used by over 10,000 closely held companies as a highly tax advantaged way for owners to sell all or part of their ownership stake to a company-funded employee trust. This program describes the rules, tax benefits, and feasibility issues of these plans.

Presenter, Corey Rosen, is the senior staff member and founder of the National Center for Employee Ownership, a private, nonprofit membership, information, and research organization in Oakland, CA that is widely considered to be the authoritative source on broad-based employee ownership plans.
