Building a Non Profit Fundraising Board--Getting to Yes
It is one of the most frequent complaints from nonprofit leadership---I can't get my board to fundraise and yet fundraising is one of the most important roles of a nonprofit board. Board members are equally frustrated as they feel they are constantly being asked to fundraise. This course will explore how CPAs can advise their non profit clients that with proper recruitment, training and support, board members can become effective, even enthusiastic, fundraisers.

Presenter, David Tabak, principal of Tabak Non Profit Strategies is a professional with more than 20 years of experience in large and small nonprofit organizations, professional and social services. He has successfully helped many organizations transitioned from high-level strategic planning to operational-level execution. He is adept at facing challenges with calmness and even enthusiasm and has experience in all aspects of nonprofit management, including change and crisis management. His style is collaborative, forthright, and tempered with humor, which is often an essential leadership trait for overcoming difficult challenges and achieving goals.
