This program will explain what happens, step by step (and dollar after dollar) in an accounting malpractice lawsuit. We will compare and contrast alternatives, including arbitration and mediation, consider the professional ethics of dispute resolution clauses, and explain how an accounting firm may better control its destiny should it ever confront a malpractice claim.

Presenter, Gary Barnes, represents accounting firms and their insurers in the defense of malpractice claims and in providing risk management advice.
