Two research specialists with the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) put together a 10-question “fraud IQ quiz” to help professionals test their knowledge of fraud prevention, detection, and investigation. Here's one example:

“2. Which of the following is the LEAST likely to result in a data breach?

  1. Compromised passwords
  2. Thefts of encrypted laptops
  3. Unsecured wireless networks
  4. Outdated network security systems

[Answer:] (b) The mobility of laptops makes them especially vulnerable to data breaches. One measure organizations can take to reduce their exposure is to encrypt laptops. Encryption encodes data so that it can be accessed only with special passwords and keys. For encryption to be effective, employees must be educated about its use and held accountable if they fail to use it.”
