CPA Firm Merger Process and Negotiation Checklists
      June 23, 2020 @ 1-1:50pm ET
Most M&A deals typically go through five stages: preliminary discussions; transactional detail meetings and negotiations; an initial agreement outlined in a letter of intent; due diligence; and the transaction agreement and signing of the partner/shareholder agreement. Agreeing on the best criteria to achieve a successful merger is imperative to making the right decision at the right time. A successful merger must have a plan to guide the transaction and related checklists helping firms select the best firm to partner with and to determine the ensuing pre-and post merger activities.
