I am very pleased. I am meeting more and more female managing partners. Not only those who are sole proprietors but those who are leading sizeable firms.

Recently, I was reading a novel where the author had a character describe women this way:

“With regard to power, women don't have the vanity men have. They don't need to make power visible, they only want the power to give them the other things they want. Security. Food. Enjoyment. Revenge. Peace. They are rational, power-seeking planners, who think beyond the battle, beyond the victory celebrations. And because they have an inborn capacity to see weakness in their victims, they know instinctively when and how to strike. And when to stop. You can't learn that, my friend.”

What honestly bothers me is the fact that some men in the firms where female managing partners have been elected, in my opinion, have elected them because they wanted to more or less delegate all the administrative trivia to them.

Men in CPA firms where this might have happened (or is in the process of happening), please read the quoted paragraph, above, again.

Females in the role of MP who are dealing with mostly male partners. I advise you to re-read the above quoted paragraph, too.
