The Dallas office of Weaver and Tidwell merged in Brown & Nelson, a two-person firm. Reasons for the merger include:
- Adding specialty services in fraud and forensics to Weaver and Tidwell
- Weaver and Tidwell wanted to acquire these two people before another firm did.
- From Brown & Nelson’s perspective, the firm needed resources to help it grow. A recently completed $500,000 engagement was all-consuming, leaving Brown & Nelson with no time to devote to future growth.
